Pasco County Commission Debating Future of Wesley Chapel Development

Pasco County Commissioners have differing opinions about the booming growth in Wesley Chapel. While some commissioners believe that the apartments are best suited for the area; others believe that job creation is more important.

Earlier this month, the Commission voted 3-2 against a plan in Seven Oaks that would have seen 320 new apartments. In a vote against the application, Commissioner Moore stated that the community does not need more apartments rather it needs more jobs. Residents of the community are also against the creation of more apartments in the already busy thoroughfares.
